Historic Inn in downtown Coeur d’Alene
This
1908 Nationally Registered property meets the Millennium with
special accommodations and amenities. Lovingly remodeled in
2006 for luxury lodging in period décor, this property has a lot
of history to share: Built in 1908 as a boarding house, it
has also been a bordello, a nunnery, and a bed and breakfast, as
well as headquarters for Burlington Northern Railway staff,
among other things.
At this
time, our Inn also is the home of
Greenbriar Catering, a 20-year old establishment, which
provides exclusive catering to many families and businesses in the
Coeur d’Alene/North Idaho/Spokane area.
Our Inn is
located in the heart of
downtown Coeur d’Alene, graced with maples on a quiet
street, 4 blocks from the center of the city. A five
minute walk from restaurants, coffee shops, antiquing, galleries,
the lake, business and legal district, and only minutes more from
the college, city park, and the resort areas that grace our
fair city. Tubbs Hill, a nature walk on the lake is a great
place to hike to with beaches along the way, for those that want
to take a longer walk, or the Resort Boardwalk, also five minutes
walking distance from this location.
Friendly
and quaint, with an English Garden on the side of the property, a
deck on the first and second floors, this “Colonial Revival”
property, unique to North Idaho, unfolds to our guests as they
walk through our front doors; with
2000 square feet of lodging on the second and third floors, and
2000 square feet of guest/dining space on the first floor.
Perfect for reunions, corporate events, retreats and weddings,
with many extras. Our friendly staff will make your stay
with us their first priority.
The guest
rooms are appointed with fine antiques and original floors have
been refinished to the original décor with period carpets. Each
floor has a kitchen or kitchenette for our overnight guests.
A lounge with flat screen TV and Internet access is available to
both floors, with second floor deck, lake view and hot tub/spa on
the deck.
Dinner?
Please let us know if you would like dinner at the Inn. We
can bring it to your kitchen or, for larger parties, serve your
guests in the main dining area. We cater to a minimum of 20
people in our larger dining room, downstairs. Great for any
event you are here in Coeur d’Alene for! All menus will be

bedrooms, each with private baths, and a kitchen with futon /couch
for additional parties. There
is also a shower/bath in the hall, opposite the kitchen.
This floor could be rented as an apartment, if requested.
Maximum occupancy: 2 adults per room or a total of six adults on the 3rd
floor.
$135.00
per night per room for min. two night stay, $150.00 per night per
room for one night, $800.00 per week.
Second
Floor:
With three
bedrooms, one of which is a suite of rooms, with sitting area,
bedroom and full bath. Maximum
occupancy: 2 adults
per room or a total of six adults on the 2nd floor.
Suite:
$135.00 per night for minimum two nights stay, $150.00 per
night, $800.00 per week.
