Hors d’oeuvres from the Greenbriar Inn

We have found that if our clients tell us their budget, we are able to design a menu for them that fits within that! Generally, appetizers are $1.75 to $2.50 per person per choice. Some items are more expensive such as seafood or a few hors d'oeuvres requiring an unusual amount of time to make. Please refer to the menu. Exceptions will be noted to the side of those hors d'oeuvres not falling within that guideline. A minimum of $45.00 will be charged for each appetizer chosen, even if your group has fewer than 20 people attending. Thank you for your interest!

Hors d’oeuvres, Finger Foods, and Party Trays

Our appetizers are carefully prepared and attractively presented on either disposable trays or silver/glass platters.

The per person portion varies, but the number of items per selection is approximately 2-2 ½ items, with a minimum charge of $50.00 for each selection chosen. Pricing follows each item.

v     Beef or Chicken Skewers with the following choice of marinade and dipping sauces; Peanut Sauce, Coconut Curry Sauce, Chutney Prepared with Seasonal Fruit, or Teriyaki Sauce: $2.10 per person

v     Phyllo Triangles (Spanakopita) with fillings of either; Spinach, feta cheese, and green onion, or Artichoke, sun dried tomatoes, caramelized onion, and parmesan: $2.25 per person

v     Profiteroles ~ Miniature cream puffs or choux pastry filled with Greenbriar’s special chicken salad or salmon mousse: $2.25 per person

v     Pastry Swans ~ Choux pastry formed into petite swans ($2.60 per person)

v     Ham/Asparagus/Parmesan Rolls ~ Puff Pastry rolled around filling of choice and baked until crisp: $2.25 per person

v     Miniature Potato Skins ~ Filled with mashed potatoes, sour cream, cheddar cheese, bacon bits, and green onion: $2.25 per person

v     Jalapeño Poppers with Salsa: $2.25 per person

v     Shredded Chicken or Beef Flautas ~ Served with salsa and sour cream: $2.40 per person

v     Ham Wrapped Papaya ~ Seasonal treat, or substitute honeydew melon for another tasty treat: $2.40 per person

v     Stuffed Mushrooms ~ Italian sausage, spinach and parmesan or crab, artichoke and parmesan: $2.25 per person

v     Devilled Eggs ~ garnished with Olives and Paprika ($2.10/person) or with bay shrimp ($2.25/person) 

v     Rosemary Fillet of Beef on Sliced Baguette ~ Topped with creamy horseradish: $2.10 per person

v     Mini 3” Quiche ~ available in Traditional Quiche Lorraine, Seafood, or Vegetarian: $2.10 per person

v     Quesadillas ~ Flour tortilla grilled with fillings of spicy chicken. Cheddar and sundried tomato, or Sautéed zucchini, caramelized onion, and jack cheese and served with cilantro salsa and sour cream: $2.10 per person

v     Spicy Chicken Wings ~ Served with homemade bleu cheese dip: $2.10 per person

v     Nine-Layer Mexican Dip ~ Served with tri-color tortilla chips: $2.10 per person

v     Mussels ~ Served with butter, herbs, orange and saffron, then finished with Pernod; seasonally priced (approximately $3.50 per person,) 

v     Tempura Veggies ~ An assortment of seasonal vegetables fried light and crispy and served with a duck sauce: $2.40/person

v     Puff Pastry Squares ~ Filled with salmon pate` and cucumber sliver: $2.25/person

v     Chinese Pork ~ marinated, roasted and sliced, served with sesame seeds and hot mustard: $2.25/person

v     Bacon Wrapped Scallops: $2.60 per person

v     Wraps ~ Sun dried tomatoes and spinach filled with your choice of: Turkey, chipotle cream cheese, cheddar, and spinach; or roast beef, roasted peppers, provolone, and Dijon: $2.10 per person

v     Baked Artichoke and Krab Dip ~ Served with garlic crostini: $2.10 per person

v     Phyllo Cigars ~ Flaky phyllo filled with rice, herbs, huckleberries and pine nuts: $2.40/person

v     Baked Brie encroute ~ Warm and delectable, served with crackers: $2.10/person or covered with pistachios and huckleberry pepper jelly: $2.25/person

v     Chicken Florentine Pinwheels ~ White meat chicken rolled with spinach, ricotta and parmesan cheeses, then baked, sliced, and served warm or cold: $2.30

v     Stuffed Mushrooms ~ Mushrooms stuffed with bacon, chicken and sun dried tomatoes are blended with ricotta cheese and done to golden brown: $2.40/person

v     Creamy Artichoke and Parmesan Spread ~ Baked and served with crostini: $1.20/person

v     Meatballs in homemade huckleberry sweet and sour sauce $2.25 per person 

v     Roasted Tomato and Kalamata Tart on puff pastry, topped with feta and parmesan $2.20 per person 

v     Five Flavor Salmon Bites: On pumpernickel with smoked salmon, fresh chives, lemon cream cheese and five layers of flavor that tease your mouth, around the world! $2.50 per person 

v     Coconut Shrimp with sweet chili lime sauce: $3.00 per person

v     Cilantro Lime Shrimp: Sauteed black tiger shrimp, served with jicama, lime and corn chips: $3.00

v     Artichoke Stuffed New Potatoes: $2.00 per person

v     Curried Scallops with New Potatoes $4.50- per person 

v     Fiesta Shrimp Cocktail (for seated diners only): Spicy lime shrimp on a bed of kale, tomato, onion cilantro, and avocado: $4.00 per person

v     Saffron Mussels: Steamed mussels in a saffron/wine and butter sauce with fresh cilantro: $4.00 per

v     Zucchini Crab and vegetable roll ups with wasabi aioli and carrots, avocado and fresh basil: $3.00 per person

v     Triple tapenade: Hummus, muffulata (minced kalamata olives, garlic, herbs and olive oil spread) Feta, sundreid tomato and artichoke spread: Served with Basil crostini, olive oil and balsamic vinegar: $3.00 per person 

v     Proscuitto and parmesan wrapped Asparagus $2.50 per person 

v     Salmon croustades: Salmon, arugula, red onion on a layer of avocado, caper, lemon juice and cream cheese: $2.75 per person

v     Fruit and cake Kabobs with Margarita Dip: (Sweet cream and margarita) $2.25 per person 

v     Grilled Scallops wrapped with Smoked Salmon on Fresh Rosemary Skewers: $4.50 per person

Although we have not priced these out individually, as price can vary due to item and season, generally speaking our hors d’oeuvres run about $2.25 per person per choice, on average.
